Staying positive, consistent and productive in the lockdown

Hello everyone, today I want to talk about how to stay positive, consistent and productive during these circumstances while being at home.

1. Waking up early and sleeping on time

I have realized recently that due to my inconsistent lifestyle for the past couple of months, I was not consistent and my productivity was in decline. So, I am working on waking up early for the past couple of days and honestly speaking it is a bit difficult at the beginning but later on you would enjoy waking up early. When we wake up early we have more time on our hand which we can devote to ourselves by doing some workout, meditating, reading book or writing or doing any stuff which we like. If we wake up late then we rush things and then our whole day is hampered.

2. Pursuing some hobbies

Pursuing hobbies that interest us and makes us happy helps to stay positive and reduce our stress and also to clear our heads of other things. For example, when I am writing my mind is focused just on what I am writing and all other thoughts just vanish also when I am spending my time on writing or reading, I am utilizing my time which would have been spent otherwise on counter-productive or negative things like overthinking or consuming content from social media

3. Keeping our mind calm and organized

During this pandemic situation, keeping our mind calm and organized is very important as there are a lot of bad things happening we end up overthinking and becoming anxious and negative but if we give time to ourselves by doing nothing just meditating, listening to some calming music, chanting or deep breathing, we can calm ourselves. Also, when we maintain journals we can clear our thoughts by jotting them down on the paper we can get rid of them and we can feel light

4. Garbage in, Garbage Out

For the past couple of days, I have read or listened to this phrase multiple times. This phrase means that users should avoid the garbage that includes any sort of content that is affecting you in a bad way or even people who are affecting you negatively. Follow people who inspire you, who makes you positive and happy. There are various good content available and you can refer to my past blogs and my upcoming blog where I would be writing in details about some books which would inspire you, motivate you and make you feel good

5. Do some physical activity regularly

Do some sort of physical activity every day. It can be in form of household chores, walking, yoga, workout, etc. But do something every day. Don't just sit on your chair or lie on your bed or sofa for a long time, get up do some stretches and walk for a few minutes after some time.

6. Don't overuse your devices

Don't spend all your day on your laptops, mobiles or tablets. Spend time with your family, talk with your friends and relatives and support them in these hard times. Don't spend time binge-watching. Listen to some music or podcasts as it won't cause strain to your eyes and would be calmful or read some books.
